We All Work Too Much
05:13

We moved out here
To that awful apartment
The leaky roof and the faucet
That window that couldn't shut
You said you loved me
On a twin bed in the living room
I knew I had to stick with you
Anyway I could
And I'd be fine
If you were mine
I'd thank the lord
If I was yours
When all I wanted was the camera and the lights
On a sound stage late at night
You fell in love with me when my career was just a lie
That kept me up at night
It's when you look at me with hair hung in your eyes
Like a magic lightning strike
That I'd do anything to be the kind of guy
That you'd want in your life
I'd love to hang around
But I should be working
But I'm always working

Dash My Dreams
04:25

Dash my dreams on a rock
And spill them in your love
Swim beneath the waves let the dark come up
If it feels so good then it’s probably right
But it’s hard to know if I am still the lying type
Cradle up in your bed
Feel your hair surround me
Weaves into my skin til I know it’s bound me
If it taste like blood then it’s probably fine
How it wraps around my head and helps drown out my mind
It feels right
To sleep through the night
I would drive the state
The slope slowly westward
See the mountains fade just to swim your river
If it feels like love then I’ll know it’s right
I could drop my life right now to put your hand in mine
